Mogwai

Mogwai, the post-rock giants from Scotland are coming to New Zealand for two shows in 2015. 95 BFM and RadioActive FM is excited about these performances that will take place on March 6th at James Cabaret in Wellington; March 7th at The Powerstation Auckland.
Mogwai need little introduction as they’ve been active since 1996 with eight LPs under their belt along with a dedication of touring worldwide which few bands can match up too!

Many claim that Mogwai’s sound has influenced many other musicians in the post-rock world. The band released their 10th album Rave Tapes this January, which received great acclaim from critics worldwide. Their sounds are usually very different but always beautiful and captivating to listen to because of how they use textures with beats underneath them

Mogwai are a ferocious band that is known for their consistent sound and members who don’t suffer from ego. They have performed in the acclaimed soundtrack of Les Revenants, which was showcased to an approximate 1.8 million viewers every week on TV with great success even though they were not well-known before then; this has allowed them greater exposure than ever before, allowing them to tour extensively around Europe and perform at various big festivals like Glastonbury Festival (UK), Primavera Sound (Spain) among others without any conflict or issue standing between themselves and fans eagerly awaiting their arrival!
